To give a proper pitch there has to be a level of creativity to keep your listeners engaged. We decided the best route to take would be a parody of the popular show Shark Tank. We delivered our pitch as though we were talking to the sharks themselves. By creating this atmosphere we were able to create a pitch that is not only unique but also interesting to our viewers.

Going into this project we knew that we would want to create a video format pitch rather than using slides. Through that idea we originally came up with the idea of creating a straightforward pitch as though we were talking to an employer. That then morphed into us talking with a superintendent as though we were trying to get his school to partner up with us. And then after all that consideration we had the thought of Shark Tank. It is a fun way to convey our pitch that is much more interesting than us simply starting a video seated and running right into our pitch. It doesn’t sound like we changed a lot but the final product clearly reflects how these small changes made a great difference in the overall product.
